Only TWO more Wednesdays of SOCKtober! 🧦 and we are having a great (and friendly 😉) competition!

The Book Fair is coming to GIS THIS Wednesday through Friday (18th through the 20th)! 📚 Have your student(s) bring money or use the Scholastic eWallet to purchase. Preview forms have been sent home with your students.
We will also have Crawford Reads here to donate used books for free as well.
Whether buying new or picking from our used selection, our goal is for EVERY student to walk away this week with a new book in their hands 🙌🏻

We came, we sang, and we served some hot pancakes 🥞 Thank you to Galion Kiwanis for having our 5th-grade choir and Lighthouse students help today!

Attention Tiger Families. Some necessary changes were recently made to the transportation form located in Final Forms. With these changes, it is necessary for all parent/guardians to update and sign that form. We thank you for attending to this promptly. If you have any concerns you may email or call the Transportation Department. transportation@galionschools.org or 419-468-3432 ext. 11024

We don't just celebrate academic successes, we also celebrate behavioral successes - and Ryder deserves every bit of it 👏🏻
📈 Progress like this is all the inspiration in the world for students and teachers alike.

Is your custodian also a life-saver? OURS IS 🙌
At lunch, Mr. Matt Eusey noticed Miss Kylee struggling to breathe. After assessing, he acted swiftly and used the Heimlich maneuver to dislodge her hamburger!
We are ALL so thankful for Mr. Eusey! 💙

Fall Harvest Parties are coming!
🦺 Students may wear costumes on this day, but nothing covering faces, fake blood, weapons, etc. School appropriate costumes 😉
🍭 Students may bring in pre- packaged treats to share on this day as well. Please reach out to your students homeroom teacher for class totals and any allergy restrictions if you do not hear from them and wish to provide a class treat
